  1. Love the beautiful pictures! I enjoyed watching the videos. I think it would be fun to do the elephant trek. Chiang Mai looks like an interesting place to visit.

    Pulaski, Tennessee

  2. Although an elephant-back tour sounds like an amazing experience, I think I’d be wary in case the elephant decides it doesn’t want passengers that day!

  3. I loved the pictures – the sun set and sun rise are beautiful. I would love to see the sky lanterns at night. Don’t know about the elephant rides.

  4. Loved all the pictures and Chiang Mai would be a fantastic place to visit. Just loved all the temples and that white one is just beautiful!! AZ

  5. The ornateness of the temples!!! Beauty is everywhere, even the patterns in the fields look like a tortoise shell pattern!

  6. I have never visited this area before but I know that Thailand is quickly becoming a very popular tourist spot. The white temple is simply breathtaking.

    Fort Myers, Florida

  7. One thing I don’t think I mentioned but was on one of the videos is that Chiang Mai has a slower pace than other, more hectic Asian cities like Bangkok to the south. It also has a night bazaar for shopping. I think of the two places, I would prefer Chiang Mai. I might not be able to manage a trek on the back of an elephant, but I would love to visit one of the elephant sanctuaries. Elephants are revered in Thailand, which gives me a very happy feeling.
