  1. The male lion in 2,6 & 11 is beautiful. Especially #11. The lightning is superb.Happy New Year’s Eve everyone. Be safe

  2. I have always loved the lions. I love the lions mane and fierce roar, the lioness’s ability to hunt and care fore their cubs and the cubs are just so darn cute. Beautiful animals.

  3. Lions have an interesting life style. The females do the hunting and cub rearing. And their is only the one dominate breeding male in each pride

  4. The little cub on his back showing his belly is so cute. He is saying ” here I am come rub my tummy…” Their fur looks so plush — Love em all

  5. Enjoyed all the pictures and lions are such majestic creatures! I just adore the baby cubs and they are so playful, just like kittens. Happy New Year everyone! AZ

I liked the photo of the lion family at the waterhole the best.
I live in Iowa now but am originally from New Jersey.
    Happy New Year everybody!

  7. Lions always seem so majestic. I love all these wonderful photos you’ve collected for us to see. They remind me of what I see when going to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, especially in the spring, when the cubs come along.
