  1. I have just finished reading the first 2 books of the Ascension Series and can’t wait to get book 3 I love the way she writes and will continue to be a fan for as long as she writes books.
    PS I don’t like Scorpions either!

      Scorpions just freak me out! They move incredibly fast as well, which makes it worse! But, setting critters aside, I’m so glad that you’re enjoying my beloved warriors!

  3. So I started Ascension on Saturday and it is currently 12.26am Thursday (I’m in Australia) I am just about to start Obsidian Flame! I need to sleep, I need to start a 2500 word essay that’s due Monday, I need to do to the work piling on my office desk but IM ADDICTED!!!! I truly love this series and I only hope the next in the series is released soon!!

    On that note, I’m off to read some more!!!

      My absolute favorite thing is disrupting someone’s schedule because of books I’ve written!!! It’s my master plan for taking over the world, LOL!!! I’m thrilled you’re enjoying my most beloved winged vampires! The good news? Leto’s book, GATES OF RAPTURE, releases on December 24th!

  6. I just finished “Burning Skies”. I am hook to this series. I can’t wait to read more about the Warriors of Blood. I think this series is awesome!

  7. I am a new fan. My daughter introduced me to your Ascension seies and now I am hooked. I in turn hooked my cousin and we are all waiting anxiously awaiting Gates of Rapture. Please continue to release these books and we will continue to purchase them and recruit new readers.

  136. Just finish reading the latest book Gates of Rapture. I know that I have said this before but this is the BEST ONE YET!!!! Caris I would love to be in your mind, because I just cant waite for the next book. When I bought the first book in this series Ascension who new that I would be sooooo hooked. I read about 150 books per year. I have all of Guardians of Ascension series and even the Blood Rose one as well. My problem is that when I started this series there was to be ten books. In the Gates of Rapture there is nothing about your next one in the series. I know that you are no longer going to us St. Matin’s Press. BUT I really dont care who you use PLEASE just finish the series. I NEED to see Endelle and Braulio get together I am already set with a box of kleenex and and fan. My husband and I have the best time reading these books on our tablets. I pre-ordered this last book back in the summer at the end of that book. How do I pre-order the next one in this series. PLEASE HELP ME one of your biggest fans. You go girl. Love Trudy & Carl

      I’m so glad that my most beloved Guardians have become part of your reading life. Isn’t reading THE BEST! So, here’s the deal: I can’t publish the 7th book in the series until GATES has been out 6 months. Also, I’m starting a new series with St. Martin’s Press, called WARRIORS IN CHAINS, and have just finished the first book, BORN IN CHAINS, which I’m hoping will release in the fall of this year, 2013!

      BUT…BUUUUUUUTTTTT…I have every intention of seeing the Guardians of Ascension series through to Endelle’s book, #10. I’ve had one offer to do that, but again, I can’t do a thing until July. With that said, I’m permitted contractually to write novellas in the series, looooong novellas. Have you read BRINK OF ETERNITY? This novella came out in July of 2011, but I’m re-releasing it with a new cover, to hopefully expand my guardian-loving readership. Then in FEBRUARY, I’ll be releasing THE DARKENING, the second Ascension novella, featuring a Militia Warrior, Samuel, with emerging Warrior of the Blood power!!! THE DARKENING takes place one month after GATES, so I’m picking right up and continuing the world, in which, yes, we go to THIRD EARTH…and yes, Endelle, the Warriors of the Blood, and those Militia Warriors on the brink of What-Bee status, will find themselves entangled in a whole new set of problems even as Second Earth grapples with the chaotic result of what happened in GATES!

      Will this satisfy you until I can release Book #7, Luken’s book?!?
