Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Located in the center of the Balkans, Bosnia and Herzegovina is the perfect location for visiting the Balkan Peninsula. It’s a land of great physical beauty with mountainous areas and hilly regions defining much of the country. There are also numerous, gorgeous waterfalls to be visited. (Check out the first video below.) It also has many excellent ski resorts. The 14th Olympic games were held here in 1984. The capital city, Sarajevo, has several famous religious buildings to take in. The country also offers a unique ‘ethno village’ experience where villages have been recreated to show the history of different parts of the country in natural settings.
